My Mission

“I believe in providing painless dental care that improves the lives of each of my patients. Whether they need to be relieved of pain, have function restored or desire a more beautiful smile, I am here to help. By taking the time to speak with each patient and ask about their goals and concerns, I’m able to develop treatment plans that are right for their situation. Just as each patient is unique, so, too, are their needs. As a dentist, it’s my responsibility to figure out the best solution for each person’s requirement.”

Committing to ongoing education, Dr. Houpt has pursued advanced training in endodontics, oral diagnostics, oral surgery, and periodontics, and was a Dental Quality Assurance Commission finalist.

Professional Memberships

Active in professional organizations, Dr. Houpt is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Society of Forensic Odontology, the Kitsap County Dental Association, the Leadership Institute, and the Washington State Dental Association.

Life & Hobbies

An avid runner, Dr. Houpt has completed both the Boston and New York Marathons. He collects Radio Flyer wagons, some of which are displayed in his office. Giving back to the community is important to him, so he has provided low-income dentistry at Emerald Downs racetrack and casino.
